I feel just as strongly for him, even if were 6 timezones and an ocean away. My fear is, I have already been in a LDR that ended last year, when the guy told me we were just friends after months of leading me on. This new guy is so amazing and sweet, but I feel very insecure, and I have a fear of this ending the same way. What do I do?

It’s completely understandable that you now have your guard up.  We can all learn from our past experiences, but don’t let it get in the way of your future.  There is no reason why you should think this will be the same outcome, it’s a new guy.  Give it a chance, no regrets.  Good luck! (:
